Fuel Oil Pollution and Air Quality

by

Would you believe that air quality varies from neighbourhood to neighbourhood depending on what type of fuel the heating appliances are in that neighbourhood and what type of fuel is used? In New York, they have found that buildings with number 4 and number 6 fuel oil are hurting the air quality. Please see the article from the New York Times by clicking the link at the side of this page. What type of neighbour are you? Are you sure your furnace is not polluting?

Best Regards,

Joseph Simon
